Before you make an arrangement
EES Office helps students explore English-language study and selected short training opportunities in the UK. Enquiring is not the same as booking. Before you commit to a paid service, please review the written service details, relevant provider terms, total costs and cancellation information. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these Terms.
01. About EES Office and these Terms
EES Office is the public-facing trading name of EUROPEAN OFFICE FOR EDUCATIONAL SERVICES LTD, based in Birmingham, United Kingdom. These Terms & Conditions explain how our website may be used and the general framework for enquiries and educational support services.
Our office contact address is Office 7, 162 High Street, Deritend, Birmingham, United Kingdom. You can reach us at [email protected] or +44 7380 700279.
These Terms are intended for visitors, prospective students, customers, and, where relevant, parents, guardians and organisations enquiring on behalf of a student. They should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and any written quotation, service agreement, booking confirmation or provider conditions supplied for a particular arrangement.
Important: general use of this website does not, on its own, constitute a paid booking or oblige you to buy a service.
02. Our educational services
We help international students explore opportunities to study English in the United Kingdom, with particular experience serving enquiries from Arab countries while welcoming students from other international markets.
Depending on your needs, availability and an agreed service scope, our assistance may include:
- Educational consultation and comparison of English-language institutes or course options.
- General English, Intensive English, specialist English for professionals, and selected short professional training enquiries.
- Guidance on institute registration requirements and administrative support with enrolment steps.
- General study-related information concerning documentation and official UK travel resources.
- Enquiries about host-family accommodation, student residences, hotels or independent apartments.
- Enquiries and coordination concerning airport transfers and arrival arrangements.
- General local orientation and agreed assistance with institute or accommodation-related enquiries during studies.
- Enquiries about course extensions, additional study opportunities or departure arrangements.
We primarily focus on language institutes and selected short training providers, not university degree admissions. The availability and exact scope of each service will be explained for your circumstances before any chargeable arrangement is confirmed.
03. The role of educational and other providers
Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, EES Office acts as an educational guidance and coordination service, not the school or teaching provider. Institutes decide their own admissions criteria, course content, fees, timetables, teaching methods, qualifications and certificates.
Accommodation operators, transport companies and other independent organisations may also provide their services under their own contracts, policies and regulatory responsibilities. We will aim to explain which organisation is responsible for which part of your arrangements before you commit.
Our involvement does not imply that every provider is owned or operated by EES Office or that we can alter a provider's admissions decisions or contractual conditions.
04. Website information and enquiries
The information published on eesoffice.uk, including program descriptions, articles, general cost references, destination information and FAQs, is provided to help you explore possibilities. It is not an individual admission decision, a guaranteed quotation, or a binding offer to supply a course or travel service.
Submitting an enquiry, requesting a consultation, sending a message or receiving preliminary information does not itself guarantee availability, enrolment, accommodation, airport collection or any particular outcome.
We aim to keep information accurate and current, but details supplied by independent providers may change. Please ask us to confirm material details in writing before making financial or travel commitments.
05. Information and cooperation from students
To provide relevant guidance, we may ask about your current English-language level, learning goals, preferred study location, intended dates, length of stay, approximate budget and any additional arrangements you wish to explore.
You are responsible for providing information that is accurate, complete and up to date, reviewing documents and confirmations carefully, meeting provider deadlines, and telling us promptly if your circumstances change.
Please do not supply false or misleading information. Do not send passport numbers, payment-card information or other sensitive documents through a general enquiry form unless we have arranged a suitable and appropriate channel for that purpose.
Where someone contacts us on behalf of another person, they should have the necessary permission or legal authority to do so.
06. Quotations, acceptance and service agreements
Where a paid EES Office service is proposed, the specific services, any relevant inclusions or exclusions, applicable prices, any required deposit, payment arrangements and any relevant cancellation conditions should be set out in a written quotation, booking summary or separate agreement before you are asked to commit.
A service agreement with EES Office is formed only when the offer has been accepted in the agreed manner and EES Office has confirmed acceptance, subject to any conditions clearly stated in that offer. An institute or third-party provider may separately decide when its own contract is formed.
If a particular confirmed agreement conflicts with a general statement on this website, the terms specifically agreed for that service will normally determine the commercial details, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
We encourage you to keep a copy of each written quote, provider terms, payment record and booking confirmation for future reference.
07. Prices, deposits and payment
We do not publish a universal price or fixed booking fee in these Terms. Educational program fees, accommodation, transfers and any separate EES Office charges depend on the chosen service and the applicable provider.
Before accepting a chargeable service, you should be told the price or how it will be calculated, the relevant currency, any taxes or compulsory additional charges, the payment recipient, when payment is due and any applicable deposit terms.
Depending on the arrangement, payment may be made to EES Office or directly to an educational or other provider. We will aim to identify the intended recipient clearly. Do not assume that course fees or optional services are included unless expressly confirmed.
Where an international transaction involves currency conversion, card issuers or payment service providers may apply rates or charges outside our control; any charges imposed directly by EES Office will be disclosed before purchase.
We will not treat an optional paid extra as accepted merely because you submitted a general enquiry.
08. Cancellation rights and refunds
Cancellation and refund rights depend on who you contracted with, the nature of the service, how the contract was made, and any mandatory legal rights that apply. The relevant written confirmation and provider conditions should explain how to cancel a specific arrangement.
UK consumer cancellation rights
For some distance or off-premises contracts for EES Office services, a consumer may have a statutory 14-day cancellation period from the date the service contract was concluded. Whether that right exists, and whether an exception applies, depends on the applicable legal rules and the specific service. We will provide any required pre-contract cancellation information where those rules apply.
If you expressly ask us to start providing a relevant service during the cancellation period, cancellation may result in a proportionate charge for services already supplied, where legally permitted and properly disclosed. If a service is fully performed after a compliant express request and the necessary acknowledgement, the statutory cancellation right may end, where permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits a statutory cancellation, refund, repeat-performance or price-reduction right that applies to you.
How to request cancellation
For an EES Office booking, please email [email protected] with your name, relevant booking reference (if any), the service you wish to cancel and a clear statement of your decision. We will explain which arrangements we can cancel and which must be handled by the relevant provider.
You may also use the following simple model cancellation message for a distance contract when a statutory cancellation right applies; using this exact wording is not mandatory.
To: EUROPEAN OFFICE FOR EDUCATIONAL SERVICES LTD — [email protected]
I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the following service: [describe service].
Ordered on: [date]. Name: [name]. Contact details: [email or address]. Date of notice: [date].
For third-party course fees, housing or transport costs, any provider-specific rules will be considered together with your applicable legal rights. We will not automatically describe all payments as non-refundable. Where a refund is due from EES Office, it will be handled in accordance with the agreement and applicable law.
09. Changes, availability and provider cancellations
Courses, institute timetables, class availability, program start dates, prices and practical arrangements may change. Registration and acceptance remain subject to the provider's requirements and availability.
Where we learn of a material change affecting an enquiry or agreed arrangement, we will aim to notify you promptly and explain available options, including any relevant statutory remedies or provider-specific cancellation and refund rights.
Requests to change a course, dates, accommodation or transfer arrangements may depend on the provider's consent and its published or agreed conditions. We will not make material paid changes on your behalf without appropriate authorisation.
If EES Office is unable to supply a service it agreed to provide, we will address that failure and any related remedies under applicable consumer law and the specific contract.
10. Accommodation and airport transfers
Depending on your destination and the arrangements available, we may help you explore host families, student residences, hotels, apartments, airport pickup or other local transport options.
Accommodation availability, check-in procedures, property rules, deposits, damage charges, cancellation conditions and travel arrangements depend on the relevant provider and what is expressly included in your booking. Any material restrictions or charges should be disclosed before a commitment is made.
Students should check the address, check-in and departure times, transport pickup instructions, luggage allowances and emergency contact information provided by the relevant operator. Tell us promptly about concerns relating to arrangements we have agreed to coordinate.
Additional legal protections may apply if travel services are sold together in a way that meets the definition of a regulated package or linked travel arrangement. These rights are not excluded by calling an arrangement an educational service; see Section 17.
11. Passports, UK entry and immigration
You are responsible for checking that you hold the travel documents and permissions required for your circumstances, including applicable passport validity rules, entry requirements and permission to study. Requirements can vary by nationality, course type and duration, and may change.
EES Office may share general study-related documentation information and direct you to official sources such as GOV.UK's visa checking service. We do not provide regulated immigration advice or legal representation. If you need advice about visa eligibility or an application strategy, consult a suitably authorised adviser or legal professional.
We cannot guarantee UK entry, visa approval, admission to an institute, acceptance of supporting documents or a particular immigration outcome. Decisions rest with the relevant authorities and providers.
A refusal or delay does not automatically determine the refund position for every separate service; any applicable statutory rights and the individual provider or service contract will be considered.
12. During your studies and ongoing assistance
Where included in a confirmed service, we may help with general institute enquiries, communications with relevant providers, practical arrival information, accommodation-related queries or suitable course-extension enquiries.
The level, methods and availability of ongoing assistance depend on the service expressly agreed, not on the mere fact that a student has registered through an enquiry. We are not an emergency response service, medical provider, security organisation or substitute for local authorities or institute welfare arrangements.
For urgent risks to health or safety, seek help from the local emergency services or the appropriate on-site provider rather than relying solely on an ordinary EES Office contact channel.
13. Students under 18, parents and sponsors
Enquiries involving a person under 18 may require a parent or legal guardian to participate and provide appropriate consent, depending on the nature of the enquiry and the provider's requirements.
Any additional safeguards, supervision or accommodation requirements for younger students depend on the service, the institute, applicable law and the arrangements agreed. We will not imply that a particular form of guardianship, safeguarding service or supervision is included unless confirmed in writing.
Parents, guardians and sponsoring organisations may contact us with general enquiries. Sharing a student's personal or confidential information with them will be subject to appropriate authorisation and legal requirements, as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Website content and intellectual property
Website text, branding, page layouts, educational articles and other original materials on this site may be protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property rights belonging to EES Office or relevant licensors.
You may view, print or save reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial study-planning purposes. You must not republish substantial portions, present materials as your own, remove relevant ownership notices or commercially reuse protected content without permission, except where the law allows.
References to independent institutes, services or locations are informational and do not imply ownership, approval or partnership unless specifically stated.
15. Responsible use of the website
When using the website or contacting us, please act lawfully and respectfully. You must not knowingly submit fraudulent information, impersonate another person, misuse contact forms, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with site operation or distribute malicious code.
We may take proportionate steps to protect our website, staff, systems and other users if activity appears unlawful or abusive, while respecting applicable law and any contractual obligations.
We aim to keep the website available and functional, but temporary maintenance, security events or technical faults may affect access. Website availability does not replace any separate commitments we have made for paid services.
16. External websites, providers and travel rules
This website may link to independent language institutes, accommodation services, transport operators, government information and other third-party sites. Their terms, content and privacy practices may differ from ours.
Where we facilitate a third-party arrangement, our duties depend on the agreed role and applicable law. Describing another party as a provider does not exclude responsibilities that the law places on EES Office.
Package travel: Some combinations of travel-related services may be subject to the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 and associated requirements, depending on the actual services and sales arrangement. If applicable, the required information, protections and contractual rights must be provided for the relevant booking. We do not seek to exclude those rights through these general Terms.
17. Personal information and privacy
We process personal information relating to website visitors and enquiries in accordance with applicable data protection requirements and our Privacy Policy.
Depending on the service you request, it may be necessary to share relevant information with educational institutes or independent accommodation and transport providers. We aim to explain the relevant use and sharing of information and handle it appropriately.
Please avoid sending sensitive personal documents through an ordinary website enquiry form without first agreeing a suitable method.
18. Quality of service, liability and consumer rights
We aim to provide any contracted EES Office service with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with applicable law. We do not promise a specific academic result, particular improvement in English fluency, admission, visa approval, immigration outcome or other result beyond what has been expressly agreed.
We are responsible for our own obligations under an agreed contract and applicable law. We do not accept liability for matters outside our responsibility merely because we shared information about an independent provider; however, nothing here excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable statutory rights or obligations under package travel law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Nor do these Terms take away your mandatory consumer rights, including rights relating to services not performed with reasonable care and skill.
If you believe we have fallen short of an agreed service, please contact us with the details. We will assess the issue and any remedy required by the contract and applicable law.
19. Events outside reasonable control
Events such as severe weather, transport disruption, strikes, public-health measures, government restrictions or other circumstances beyond a party's reasonable control may affect planned services or arrangements.
If such an event materially affects a contracted EES Office service, we will aim to communicate with you and consider practical alternatives and the consequences under the agreement and applicable law. This clause does not eliminate refund or other rights that apply in the circumstances.
Different rules may apply where a particular booking constitutes a regulated package travel contract.
20. Questions, complaints and dispute resolution
If you have a concern about a website statement, an EES Office service, pricing or a confirmed arrangement, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible with your name, relevant booking or enquiry details, and an explanation of the issue.
We will aim to acknowledge and review the concern, investigate information relevant to our role, and explain the next appropriate steps. Response times can vary with the circumstances. Where a complaint concerns an independent provider, we can help identify the appropriate contact or escalation route if that falls within our agreed assistance.
You retain the right to seek independent advice, contact an appropriate consumer protection body or pursue remedies in a competent court. We will not require you to waive mandatory legal rights simply to raise a complaint.
21. Changes to these Terms and applicable law
We may update these Terms when our website, services or legal requirements change. The current version will be available on this page with a revised date. Material changes to an existing paid agreement will not automatically replace terms already agreed without a valid contractual or legal basis.
These Terms are intended to be interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings that apply to consumers under the relevant law of their place of residence or otherwise.
If one provision is found unenforceable, that does not automatically invalidate the other provisions, to the extent permitted by law.
